I'm 30 years (5/25/67) and I work at Andersen Consulting. I've been there for 3 and a half years and I still like it. That's a miracle considering all the shit jobs that I've had before. However, they got me to where I am today so I guess I can't complain. I have a degree in Accounting and started at Andersen as an accountant and then last year after a 4 week hiatus in Europe (where I met Nina Hagen), I switched positions and now I am software developer. I live alone in Chicago and have lived here all my life. I also love cats and I have a great cat named Mitch. I named him after Tippi Hedren's boyfriend in the Birds. When I was younger I used to hang out at Medusa's (now lofts) and go to punk rock shows at the Metro. When I turned 21, I started hanging out at the Octagon, Neo, Club 950 and the Exit. I also used to go to Industry (an awesome bar which only lasted about a year or so), Dome Room and Aftermath (also didn't last too long). Those were the good old days. I still freak out how much things have changed but that's life. I started listening to Siouxsie in between Tinderbox and Through the Looking Glass. I became a true fanatic once I got the videos for Once Upon A Time. Other bands that I enjoy are Soft Cell, Depeche Mode, The Cure, Smiths, Xymox, Cocteau Twins, Bauhaus, Alien Sex Fiend, New Order, Skinny Puppy, etc. I mostly listen to their older stuff as I find myself still stuck in the '80s. They just don't seem to make music that's as good. I also like music from the '50s, '60s and '70s too. What I'd be interested in knowing is who else is from Chicago. Brian
