But apparently no one else minds the longer responses, so here I am: 19, living in GA about an hour inland of Savannah. No clubs here, one club in Savannah has a goth/industrial night once a week, but it usually ends up being a fashion show for the "Masqueraders" to show off their new art-school rich kid fangs and ugly fake contacts.... Grew up in Denver, CO, still visit once yearly... I sew daily. I am an apparel design major at Georgia Southern University until I get my bachelor's in about a year, then hopefully to FIT and out of the South. Did not realize the hell that small towns in GA can be for a person, even in a college town, who is not a) devoutly devoted to some accepted monotheistic religion (personally an agnostic, raised Catholic) b)willing to have sex with any person who will hire them for a job. Jobs are scarce here, so I guess I am a minority in that respect. c)excited at the prospect of going to the one "club" in town that exists to keep roofies in circulation d)known for her willingness to speak up when she sees injustices....too many examples of human rights issues daily here to even list! etc... oh, by the way, did I happen to mention that I become quite cynical when explaining Georgia? At any rate, I have been listening to Siouxsie for longer than I have been keeping track of. I remember playing all of my older brother's music when he was out of the house and that I danced around quite a bit to Juju when I was maybe 7 or 8, and when I behind the wheel at 16, I had the Peepshow cassette, which was what I always listened to on the way to and from school, a 40-minute drive each way....I listened to the damn thing so much that it unspooled itself one day and I had to relinquish it to a shallow grave in my back yard...Now I feel bad...such a sad memory. But I did not mean to write such a novel.... Gina
