I'm 29 y.o. and have been trapped in the lovely American South for all those years. I've been planning a move to California for quite some time now, and it would be nice if it would happen before the millennium. I'm a writer and love to travel (when my royalty checks allow), cats (have 2, "Oliver" and "Sampson"), music/going to concerts and clubs, roller coasters, etc. My first exposure to SATB was during my freshman year at UNC-Chapel Hill (Radio/TV/Film major) in Fall '86 when I heard "Israel" on campus radio. It was late at night, I was driving alone in the car, and I was quite taken aback by the song. It remains my favorite SATB song to this day, followed closely by "Love Out Me." My first purchase was "Once Upon A Time" on cassette. My first SATB concert was the Peepshow tour stop in Boston at the Orpheum Theatre. We flew up there from NC just for the show, and it turned out to be one of the best times of my life. I started collecting bootlegs about a year and a half ago, and that keeps me going, especially since the unfortunate breakup. My non-Sioux musical tastes vary, but usually run along the lines of female vocalists, gothic (is that a bad word?), and industrial. Faves include Tori Amos, Switchblade Symphony, Kate Bush, Front 242, Nitzer Ebb, the Cure, the Sisters of Mercy, and even Madonna, Go Go's and Cyndi Lauper. Now playing: Throwing Muses, "University."
